Yoram Reich is a full professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Engineering at Tel Aviv University. He heads the MSc Program in Systems Engineering and the Systems Engineering Research Initiative.
He is the editor-in-chief of a leading international journal, Research in Engineering Design and a member of the editorial boards of eight additional magazines. He has been involved in engineering and system design for over 40 years, including the development of design theories and methods and tools for innovation, creativity and systems engineering.
Prof. Reich co-authored three books and co-edited another on these topics.
Field of research
Yoram Reich promotes systems thinking and the use of systems engineering tools to address systemic challenges such as epidemics and also explores the significance of communities in the success of addressing such incidents.
