Research activity:
My research focuses on numerical simulations and development of theoretical models for single- and multi-phase flows, with an emphasis on reacting flows.
The research topics include spray flows, combustion, propulsion systems, phase-change, and development of algorithms for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The research is relevant for a variety of engineering applications: Jet and rocket propulsion, diesel engines and gas turbines, fire safety, weapon systems, energy storage, and thermal management of electronic equipment.
