Reuven Dar is a professor of psychology at the School of Psychological Sciences at Tel Aviv University. He completed his PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, followed by an internship and post-doctoral training at the UW-Madison Department of Psychiatry.
In 1988 Professor Dar joined the faculty at Tel Aviv University, where he has served as the head of the clinical area group for many years.
Fields of Research:
His two main areas of theory and research have been obsessive-compulsive disorder and tobacco smoking, where he focused particularly on the relative roles of nicotine and non-nicotine factors in the smoking habit and on using novel technologies to monitor smoking behavior and promote smoking cessation.
