Noga Tsur received her Ph.D. in Social Work from Tel Aviv University in 2015.
She completed postdoc positions in the STREALTH Lab at Ben Gurion University, the I-Core Research Center for Mass Trauma at Tel Aviv University, and the Langer Lab at Harvard University. She then joined the Faculty of Social Work at Tel Aviv University in 2018.
Dr. Tsur is interested in uncovering the ways in which individuals experience their bodies following trauma.
She investigates posttraumatic orientation towards bodily signals and its link with long-term health-related trauma ramifications.
Dr. Tsur is especially interested in acute and chronic pain, and the way it is linked with trauma, PTSD, and the orientation towards subjective experience.
