Prof. Gershoni has focuses on developing new methods for the rational design of vaccines to such pandemic diseases as AIDS, Hepatitis C, influenza, Dengue and SARS/MERS/COVID 19.
In particular he has developed a suite of combinatorial phage display peptide libraries and uses them to critically interrogate the humoral response towards virus infection.
He has produced a number of computational approaches towards epitope prediction, epitope reconstitution and profiling the repertoire of antibodies, the IgOme, in human sera.
