The research projects span across a few modalities to achieve early Diagnosis, Treatment under feedback and monitoring the response to treatment. We aim at bedside or near patient operation.
Specifically related to the center for combating pandemic we develop photonics methods for detection of virus and bacteria utilizing biophotonics methods, specialty optical fibers and nanoparticles.
For treatment we are developing femtosecond based selective treatment and inactivation of viruses within body cavities and blood vessels.
