Adi Stern holds a bachelor's degree with honors in biology, psychology and mathematics from Tel Aviv University, and a master's and doctoral degree from the Department of Cell Research and Immunology in the Faculty of Life Sciences at Tel Aviv University.
Adi returned to university after a three-year residency in California, where she served as a postdoctoral fellow in two leading departments: the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University of California at San Francisco and the Department of Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley.
Research Interests:
Dr. Adi Stern studies the evolution of viruses. She combines genomic sequencing of viruses with computational analysis and mathematical modeling, in order to elucidate the dynamics and spread of viruses in Israel and in the world.
