Our research is focused on designing stimuli-responsive polymeric carriers aimed at selectively releasing cargo of active drug molecules at the site of diseases in response to disease associated conditions (such enzymatic activity, pH) or external trigger (light, temperature).
The nano carriers are designed to self-report their locations and degree of activation by different spectral reporting mechanisms (fluorescence, magnetic resonance).
